With Schieffer Industries Romania S. R. L. a new production facility of
Schieffer International Group has been established in Eastern Europe. Schieffer
Romania S. R. L. started its business activities on 1st January 2006.
In the first phase of business expansion the core business of the Romanian subsidiary
is the production of moulded plastic parts, assemblies of rubber and plastic as well as
hydraulic hoses mainly produced for the local Romanian market but also for neighbouring
countries. Especially the demand of the local, German and international Tier 1 suppliers
of the Automobil Industry has to be satisfied just-in-time.
The new Schieffer production plant has been realised in cooperation with the neighbor company,
automobile supplier Hella in Lippstadt. State-of-the-art technology as well as highly
motivated staff, trained at our headquarter in Lippstadt guarantee the high level of
quality standard required by the Automobil Industry. The certification according to ISO TS 16949
was successfully completed in June 2007.
